Christian Athletes Unite Through FCA

By Chantal Meacham – Staff Writer

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an organization across the country for athletes and coaches to express their faith in their sports.  Centennial just re-started their FCA huddle this year.  Meetings will be held on every other Thursday in room 119 at 7:30 a.m. starting on January 26. Everyone is welcome to join.

Centennial staff members, Ryan Remole and Sam Flowers, help lead the meetings.  A huddle will consist of food and a quick game at the beginning, a short sermon, and then a huddle time where students will split into smaller groups at the end.  FCA leadership team member, Lindsay Rogan, says, “A huddle is a place where we talk more in depth about the sermon and learn how to apply it to our lives.  It’s a great way to grow in your faith and help you in your sports.” Read more »

This role-playing game allows you choose your career unlike most other games in its category. In Skyrim, one will find tiny details and unexpected rewards. Once one enters into the game, they won’t want to leave; it feels lived in. Read more »
