Centennial’s Haunted House

Don’t you just love haunted houses? Halloween, in general? Well come on out to Centennial’s Haunted House hosted by the Interact Club, held this Friday, October 26. Tickets will be sold at the door for only $5 each. An alternative option is to donate a pair of used shoes and get in for free. To help out our community, donations will be given to benefit the United Way, a homeless organization. Be considerate and DONATE! The theme is ‘ Haunted High’ so come prepared to get scared! MLB World Series Preview

The championship series for Major League Baseball starts on Wednesday. This is called the World Series or the Fall Classics. It pits the National League  Champions, the San Francisco Giants, versus the American League Champions, the Detroit Tigers. The Giants are in the World Series because they came back in both their first two series. In the National League Championship Series, the Giants came back from a three-games-to-one deficit. The Tigers, on the other hand, won their division series three games to two against the Oakland A’s. Then, in the American League Championship Series, they Swept the New York Yankees four games to zero games. This is the First time these two franchises have faced each other in the World Series.
