During November, a couple of student athletes were selected to talk to elementary students about bullying. Many of the student athletes discussed their experiences with it and how they coped with it, when they were younger. Some of the athletes even discussed bullying that is still seen on their sports teams today. The students at Dr. Howard took this advice and are now making NO BULLYING signs to emphasize that bullying is bad and no one should take part in it. The student athletes of Centennial also took time to answer questions from the elementary kids, either giving them advice or answering questions about their sports. Overall, it was a good turnout and the student athletes were able to have an impact on the younger kids by just being themselves and telling their stories about their experiences.
