The season to register for classes for the 2013-2014 school year is already here. The months have flown by, and it’s already time to start thinking about which fun classes to take. A class students should really consider joining is eighth hour Newspaper. It is a nice environment and the interesting young journalists make the class a fun place to be at the end of the day. Students develop writing and communication skills throughout the year by writing articles independently or with other members of the staff.
Signing up for Newspaper is easier than one might think. Applications are available through the wonderful and experienced newspaper instructor Ms. McQueen in Room 234 and also through the counselors.
“Newspaper is a great opportunity because it allows students to explore different types of writing; everything from current event articles to movie reviews,” says Roni Adar, the Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Centinal.
