When the New Year arrives, it gives people extra motivation to achieve a long-term goal. As Centennial students said goodbye to 2012, many of them set new goals for 2013. Here are a few examples of Centennial students’ New Years Resolutions:

Lauren Zahrn – Eat healthy, no processed foods

Michael Finke – Gain weight

Demmeris Turner – Go to college

Isabel Lammers – Put away half of my paycheck so I have money for college

Cam White – Get jacked! (gain 20 lbs in 6 months)

Sara Regan – Floss more

Alle Roley – Learn how to drive

Jasmine Kyler – Get a six-pack

Dustin Walls – Be a better person than I was the year before

Destiny Norris – Read my bible for at least 10 minutes per day, and be better about returning clothes that I borrow

Rachel Jones – Stop drinking pop

Travis Burch – Not care so much about senior year

Trasina Diazmunoz – Find out where I’m going to college

1. Make a reminder in your phone
2. Give yourself a reward for each week that you follow your plan
3. Make your resolution with a friend
4. Let people know about your goals so that they can hold you accountable
