Girls Basketball: MacArthur @ Centennial

The chargers beat Decatur MacArthur 81-41 Thursday night. Head coach Susan Thomas said ” It was a great team effort as everyone was able to contribute to our victory. NFL Recap: Divisional Round Sunday

The first game on the Sunday portion of the Divisional Round was the 5th seed Seattle Seahawks @ the NFC south champions Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons threw the first punch in the first quarter with a 39 yard field goal by Matt Bryant going up 3-0. Later in the first quarter they scored again by a 1 yard touchdown pass to tight end Tony Gonzalez from Matt Ryan going up 10-0. In the second quarter they scored again on a 37 yard field goal going up 13-0. The last score of the first half was by the Falcons with a 47 yard touchdown pass to Roddy White from Matt Ryan going up 20-0. Read more »

Wrestling: Monticello @ Centennial

NFL Recap: Divisional Round Saturday

The second round of the NFL playoffs, called the divisional round, started on Saturday January 12th. There were two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. Centennial Dominates Eisenhower

Last Friday, the boy’s basketball team took the court against Decatur Eisenhower. The Chargers came out strong and easily took care of the Panthers, finishing with a final score of 52-33. Read more »
