Jesus Henry Christ is a really fun, quirky indie film. The story takes place in Chicago. It’s about a really intelligent ten year old boy named Henry (Jason Spevack) and his unique family. His mother suffered through many deaths in the family and had to take care of her own father when she was Henry’s age. Henry is a kid that remembers everything he’s seen; he started talking while still a baby. He calls his mom (Toni Collette) by her first name, Patricia. One day, Henry goes to visit his grandpa at a nursing home, and his grandpa tells him that he’s found Henry’s father, a sperm donor named Slavkin (Michael Sheen). Henry seeks out to meet his father and half-sister, and he introduces his mom to his dad. What follows is a strong friendship between Henry and his sister Audrey (Samantha Weinstein), while Patricia and Slavkin try to deal with the fact that Henry found his father.
