The Chicago Bears took on the Pittsburgh Steelers week 3 in the Sunday night match-up this week. The Steelers looked to finally get their first win on the season and the Bears looked to stay undefeated at 3 wins.

The Bears struck first with a field goal making the score 3-0. The Steelers on their first offensive possession gave the ball back to Chicago with a fumble recovery which led them to score a touchdown minutes later making the score 10-0. The Bears were able to score one more time at the end of the first quarter with a 1 yard run by running back Michael Bush making the score 17-0. At the beginning of the second quarter the Steelers scored by a field goal making the score 17-3 still in the Bears favor. The Bears struck back this time on defense with a 38 yard interception return for a touchdown making the game 24-3. The Steelers answered back with their first touchdown of the game which was a touchdown pass to Antonio Brown making the score 24-10 at the end of the half.

The Bears struck first in the third quarter with a 32 yard field goal making the score 27-10. The Steelers scored twice to end the third quarter first with a 36 yard field then with a 21 yard touchdown pass making the score 27-20 still in the Bears favor at the end of the third quarter. The Steelers were able to reduce the lead down to four with a 44 yard field goal making the score 27-23. The Bears were able to score twice to end the game first with a touchdown pass then with a fumble return making the final score 40-23. With this game the Bears improve to 3-0 and the Steelers still winless at 0-3.

The offense of the Bears got out to a real strong start then slowed down near the end of the half which gave a scare to all Bears fans thinking they might give up the game. Once the fourth quarter started they played their best out there showing they can still score on the offensive side. The defense looked great forcing 5 turnovers they may not been able to sack the quarterback but were able to get close and get a psychological advantage. One thing to point out is that the Bears offense need to know their plays before hand because they used their timeouts very early in the game. Overall the Bears got the win and next week take on the Detroit Lions in Detroit.
