The first weeks of school can be stressful for anyone. There are new classes, new students, and a new level of responsibility that one must learn to carry. Yet, what people often forget is how teachers feel in similar, stressful situations. The Centinal has brought this article to light because life as a teacher can be quite hectic. The Centennial Girls’ Tennis team has done well this season. It is clear from their rigorous practices why they’ve won nearly every match. The Centinal spoke with head coach Terri Scaggs, who is in the midst of her first year of coaching the girls tennis team.
This week’s Student of the Week is Austin Maltbia. Austin is a football player here at Centennial High School. He’s a junior runningback but this is Austin’s second year playing varsity football. Outside of football, Austin is also an honors student who is very active in school activities. He’s a very sociable person who enjoys having fun with his family and friends.
