Key Club: Serving the Community

by Sarah Beth

The Key Club is an organization that is based on service to help the community. This club is a great way to get involved in your community and help in any way you can.

The Key Club does many projects like rake leaves for disabled people, aid teachers, raise money for UNICEF, and helping out with Children’s Miracle Network (to name a few).

Meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of every month after school for about 30 minutes. In meetings, members discuss new ideas on how to help out the community.  If people are interested in joining it only costs twelve dollars, but if people want a shirt also it costs eight additional dollars.

Benjamin Khachaturian says “We encourage anyone and absolutely everyone to join.” The Key Club would love it if more people joined  and help put out a good message of what Centennial High School is about in the Champaign community.
