Interact Club 2014

The Centinal sat down with senior president of Interact Club, Brittany Fruehling, and asked her some questions about how the club is progressing so far this semester.

Fruehling was thrilled to say that, “Interact has been a great success this semester – haunted high was a good one! And of course the Freshman dance and Chili Supper were really successful, as usual!”

When asked about December projects, Fruehling said, “We will be shopping for and making gifts for families in need and wrapping the presents for them. We’re also doing bell-ringing which is a cool, unique thing for people to be apart of.”

Brittany has some advice for any juniors interested in being in Interact; she says  “you have to qualify with a 3.0 GPA, and if you do, you’ll receive a letter telling you to schedule an interview with the Interact Executive Board.” She went on to explain that, “after your interview that will take place around spring break, you will be notified if you are accepted to the club or not.”

Interact Club 2014 is working hard on planning for Austin’s Day of Service for next semester and they would love to have a large contingency of volunteers. Also, you don’t have to be in the club to be apart of this awesome project that helps our community!
