Throughout the past few months, Centennial’s English as a Second Language class has been learning about the American holiday of Thanksgiving. Charger Artists Exhibit at Millikin University

This weekend several Centennial artists showed works at the Millikin University High School Art Show.  Senior Pascale Grant received a $100 cash prize and $1,000 Millikin Scholarship with the Honorable Mention award for her mixed media piece, “Solitude”.  Senior Amy Janson’s painting, “Simple Clarity”, earned Best in Show, with a $200 cash prize and $3,000 Millikin Scholarship.  Congratulations to Grant and Janson and also to the other Charger artists.  Melissa Corley, Alivia Dew, Nellie Huag, Ryan Ingersoll and Sophia Koester also had pieces in the show.
