Brooke Ulrich is a Spanish teacher at Centennial, teaching Spanish 1 and 2. She has also recently taken over the job of teaching the AP Spanish class after the departure of Mrs. Westfield.
I was able to interview Ms. Ulrich, and ask her a few questions:
What do you enjoy most about Centennial?
“I really enjoy awesome colleagues that I respect and students that make me laugh”
What are your favorite hobbies?
“I like running, I running, I run every day before school”
“I also love to cook. It calms me. “
What’s your favorite food?
“My favorite food is anything barbecue.”
What is your favorite clothing brand?
“I don’t really have a favorite brand. I am not a very brand-loyal person.”
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
“I would love to just live in a constant state of travel. The world is such an amazing place and I want to see more and more of it. “
If you were given a million dollars for the day, what would you do with it?
“I would invest most of it, but would use some of it to travel the world. I would still travel in a cheaper way by staying in hostels and being mindful of how I am spending my money. I would also give some to my family and donate to some charity groups. I would not stop working or really change my lifestyle drastically.”
Ulrich is loved by many of her colleagues and students, Centennial wouldn’t be the same without her. Her friend and colleague Katie Bednar says “I have known her for a very long time, I couldn’t be happier that she’s working at Centennial. I think she’s a huge asset to the school and very supportive of the students which means shes teaching for all the right reason’s.”
