Charger of the Week: Alex Wells

by Paige Clark

alexstudentweekThis week, Alex Wells, a senior at Centennial, is our Charger of the week! With juggling tough classes, soccer, music, and volunteering, Alex has a lot on her plate during her last semester of senior year. Alex is involved in Centennial’s jazz ensemble group and plays the trumpet. She’s also involved in NHS, Interact, Tri-M, and Spanish Honors Society. Soccer season is also just around the corner and Alex will be playing on the girls Varsity team for her fourth and final year at Centennial. Alex is known for being a great friend to anyone and is a great leader in everything she’s involved in.

What do you enjoy most about Centennial?

Alex enjoys having the opportunity to be involved in a sport after school at Centennial. She enjoys the being apart of a team and meeting all the people who have the same interest as her. By being involved in a sport she had the opportunity to become friends with people she wouldn’t have met otherwise.

What are your favorite hobbies?

Other than binge watch Netflix, Alex has a few hobbies she enjoys. She loves soccer and has been playing since third grade. She also loves playing the trumpet, which she has played since fourth grade.

What is your favorite food?

Alex’s favorite food is pasta of any kind.

What is your favorite brand of clothing?

Alex loves socks. Her favorite sock brand is Smart Wool.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

If given the chance to live anywhere in the world, Alex would choose to live in Amsterdam because it is a beautiful place and very diverse.

If you were given a million dollars for the day, what would you do with it?

If Alex was a millionaire for the day she would choose to go on a huge shopping spree and probably buy a car too.

Over all, if you ask anyone, they will tell you Alex is an amazing friend. She’s loyal and always kind to everyone she meets and that is why she is our Charger of the week.
