Jordan Williams Commits to Ball State

by Tyrese Williams

Centennial Senior football player (and previous Charger of the Week) Jordan Williams has committed to play and study at Ball State University.  The Centinal spoke with Williams about his decision and his last season as a Charger.

Why did you commit to Ball State?

I had three offers at the time North Dakota, ISU, and Ball State.  At the time I wasn’t sure until I took another visit with my parents to Ball State and I really liked my defensive line coach Keith Mckenzie because of his attitude and 9 years in the NFL.  I felt like he knew what he was doing. I also really liked the updated facilities and the campus was very nice.

What goals do you have for this season?

My team goals are… I want to win our conference, make it to the playoffs, win games in the playoffs, play for the championship, win the state final.  To do this we need to start coming together as a team and performing. My goals individually… tackles, and helping out the offense more.

What is your favorite memory from football at Centennial?

Jordan : When we beat Central my sophomore year.
