Due to the construction of the new State Farm Center, graduation will be held at the Krannert Center this 2014. Because of the lack in seating, the seats per student have been limited drastically. Taking into consideration the new location and the large class size, students will only be allowed one ticket per family.

Centennial’s PE classes offer a variety of options for students to choose from when they are selecting what activity they want to do for the semester. One of these many options is ping pong. A benefit of having table tennis as an option is that it may be the only opportunity a student gets to play the sport. Daniele Brookshire is a bright and talented student at Centennial High School. She not only keeps her GPA high, but also participates in extracurricular activities. Brookshire discussed how she takes Choir as an elective course and is in National Honor Society where she helps the community.
Michael Finke is a senior at Centennial High School. He has announced that he will be signing on November 13, 2013 to play basketball for the University of Illinois. Finke plays as a power forward/center for the Chargers. When he goes to the U of I, he will be playing stretch forward as a pick and pop player or a pick and roll player. Though there is a lot of stress that comes with it, Finke is extremely excited to continue doing what he loves, which is playing basketball.
French Honor Society is a merit based organization for sharing and spreading the love of the language. Members must maintain an A average in order to qualify. French Honor Society holds a meeting once a month on a Friday morning. Members discuss French culture, history, and the beauty of the language while enjoying croissants and beverages. This year, we will be participating in French week, which is the week of November 4th, along with others that will come later in the year.

Making the decision on where to go to lunch can be difficult. No one wants to spend a lot of money on eating out, so why should you have to? The choice for where to go to lunch may be easier than you think. The best decision would either be going home, or to a friend’s house that lives close to Centennial.
